MISSION STATEMENT: Our mission is to help inmates and their families to know Jesus as their Savior, to mature in their faith, and to help ex-offenders to transition back into society as good citizens.

VISION STATEMENT: The Vision of FOCUS Prison Ministries (FOCUS) is to provide the following to Christian brothers & sisters incarcerated at or recently released from penal institutions in East Tennessee:

Hope – to establish or restore hope by helping them develop a first time love relationship with Jesus Christ or a closer, more intimate walk with Him as they discover the Vision (Purpose) that God has for their life.

 

Encouragement – to encourage them in their walk with Christ through continued discipleship and Christian fellowship.

 

Support – to provide support (e.g., physical, financial, emotional, and spiritual) as they learn for themselves that God is Trustworthy, and that He will meet “all” their needs through His glorious riches in Christ Jesus!

 

It is also our vision that as we walk hand in hand with these our Christian brothers and sisters, and as hope is restored, encouragement is provided, and support is given, that they will be successful and productive in their transition back into their families, churches, and communities - they will be transformed by the love of Christ and at last be truly free!
